Delete Your Account

Achriom is a personal media library app with an AI librarian assistant. You can permanently delete your Achriom account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

How to delete your account

The fastest way is directly in the app:

Open Achriom on Android, iOS, or the web.
Go to Settings.
Scroll to Delete Account and tap it.
Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.

If you cannot sign in, email hello@achriom.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will process the request within 30 days.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Within the app you can:

Delete any individual item from your library (book, movie, album, TV show, anime, or podcast) from that item's menu, which also removes its ratings and notes.
Delete individual conversations with the AI librarian.
Remove any book content you uploaded for in-app search.

These deletions take effect immediately. To request removal of specific data another way, email hello@achriom.com and we will process it within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following from our systems:

Your account and email address
Your entire library: books, movies, albums, TV shows, anime, and podcasts, including ratings, statuses, dates, and personal notes
Any content you uploaded, such as books used for in-app search
Your chat history with the AI librarian and your taste profile
Connected app authorizations and sign-in tokens

What is kept, and for how long

The deletion above is immediate and permanent. A few limited exceptions apply:

Residual copies may remain in encrypted, access-controlled backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
Transaction and subscription records held by our payment processors (Google Play, Apple, and Stripe) may be retained by those providers as required by law for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. Achriom does not store your payment card details.
