What is Achriom MCP?
Your personal media library — books, movies, albums, shows, anime, and podcasts — connected to any AI client via the Model Context Protocol. AI out of the box has no record of what you've actually read, watched, and loved. Achriom is that record. The raw MCP server gives any AI client 29 tools to read and write it. The Claude plugin adds 35 tools, 15 context-aware skills, and 5 slash commands.
Which AI clients work with Achriom MCP?
Claude (desktop and web), ChatGPT, and any other MCP-compatible client.
Does Achriom MCP cost extra?
No. MCP is free for all Achriom accounts with no message limits. The AI reasoning happens inside Claude or ChatGPT, which you are already paying for. Achriom never runs inference on your behalf through MCP, so there is no usage cost to pass on and no cap to hit. The 50-message limit in the free tier applies to the built-in AI librarian inside the Achriom app, not to MCP. If you already have a Claude or ChatGPT subscription, MCP gives you unlimited messages about your library at no extra cost.
Do changes made through MCP sync with the app?
Yes. Your collection is a single library. Adding an item through Claude makes it appear in the app. Updating a rating from ChatGPT reflects in your history immediately.
How do I connect?
For Claude: install the plugin from GitHub at github.com/achriom/achriom-claude-plugin. For ChatGPT: open the official Achriom app and sign in. For any other MCP client: use the endpoint at mcp.achriom.com/mcp. Full details in the Connect section above.
