Your Taste Portrait is a synthesized view of your taste across all your media — books, movies, albums, shows, anime, and podcasts together. Achriom generates it automatically once your collection has enough depth for patterns to emerge.

Finding Your Portrait

Go to app.achriom.com/taste-portrait after signing in, or tap Taste Portrait in the app’s navigation menu.

The portrait isn’t a list of your favorites. It’s an interpretation: what the things you’ve collected reveal about how you engage with culture — recurring themes, moods, eras, and sensibilities that cut across different media types.

When It Appears

Your portrait becomes available once your library has enough variety and depth for patterns to emerge. There’s no fixed number, but a collection with items across a few media types gives it more to work with. If you don’t see a portrait yet, adding more items and checking back will get you there.

Sharing Your Portrait

Every Taste Portrait has a public share link. The linked page is read-only and doesn’t require the viewer to have an Achriom account.

To share yours:

1. Open your portrait at app.achriom.com/taste-portrait
2. Tap the share icon in the top right corner
3. Copy the link

The public page renders cleanly when posted to social media or sent in a message, with a preview image that reflects your portrait content.

Your Portrait Updates Over Time

As your collection grows, your portrait updates to reflect it. Adding a wave of films in a new genre, or discovering a style of music you hadn’t tracked before, shifts the portrait accordingly.

Going Deeper with the Librarian

Your portrait gives you a summary view. For more specific questions about your taste — connections across particular items, patterns in a certain period, what your 5-star picks have in common — your librarian can go further:

“What themes keep showing up across my books and films?” “What do my favorite albums have in common?” “What does my collection say about how my taste has changed?”
